We don’t hear a lot about earthquakes here in North Carolina. Or at least we didn’t use to hear about them. But on August 9, 2020 a 5.1 magnitude earthquake sent tremors throughout the state, along with a lot of questions along the lines of “Did you feel that?”
2020: The year that keeps on giving (one crisis after another)
If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that you never know what’s coming next.
For example, in August, one week in North Carolina started with a hurricane and ended with an earthquake. Guess what’s not included in standard homeowner’s insurance coverage? Damage from flooding and…earthquakes.
