Pete Seagroves – Owner
Pete Seagroves is the owner of Seagroves Agency, Inc. He has been serving the industry since 1999. Throughout his time he has developed specializations for business and life insurance. Pete has three children – one son and twin daughters. When he is not in the office he enjoys spending time with his children, playing golf, traveling, and attending UNC basketball games.
Amy Seagroves Benton – Owner
Amy Seagroves lives in Chapel Hill with her husband Lindsay and their three children. She attended UNC Wilmington and in 1996 received her Bachelors in Recreational Therapy. In 1999 she attended Durham Technical Community College and earned her Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Amy has worked with the Seagroves Agency off and on since 1986. In 1999 she received her Property & Casualty, Life and Health, and Medicare Supplement licenses. She is the personal lines office manager.
Amy enjoys being part of her community in her spare time. She is a current member of East Chapel Hill Rotary, past treasurer/board member for Chapel Hill Service League and past treasurer/board member for the Binkley Preschool. Amy also enjoys playing tennis, ultimate frisbee and watching UNC basketball.
Lee Doss – Insurance Broker
Lee Doss serves as an agent for Seagroves Agency, Inc. With over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Lee has developed a specialization for personal policies such as home and auto insurance. Her favorite part of her career has been getting to use creative thinking to help people find the best insurance that fits their individual situations.
Lee is married and has been for over 35 years. Together they share two sons and two grandchildren. When she is not in the office, Lee loves spending time in her backyard by the fire pit dancing, singing, and roasting marshmallows with her grandchildren.
Tarron Robinson – Insurance Broker
Tarron Robinson is a dedicated associate agent for Seagroves Agency, Inc. He has been working within the insurance industry since June 2015. He has developed a specialization for personal insurance. Tarron’s favorite part of his career has been interacting with a wide variety of people every day and helping them in any way possible.
Tarron and his wife Kathryn, have been married since August 2015. Their daughter, Chloe, was born in October 2018 and continuously brings a smile to their faces! When he is not in the office, Tarron enjoys traveling to new places, spending time with family, good food, reading, and watching the Tar Heels!
Kelly Sessoms – Financial/Life Agent
Kelly Sessoms, Seagroves Agency’s Financial/Life agent, began his insurance career in 1992 and has been a member of the Seagroves family since 2006. His licenses include Life and Health, Property and Casualty, Long Term Care/Medicare Supplement and several FINRA series licenses. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kelly’s passion is creating plans for his clients that fit their current needs and help them build and protect their goals for the future.
Kelly says, “I start building plans for clients by asking ‘What are your needs? What are your goals?’ Every person I work with is different. Their needs are different. Their goals and objectives are different. Their finances are different. Therefore everyone deserves the opportunity to have help in building the plan that fits their needs and helps them reach their individual goals and objectives.”
An Eagle Scout, Kelly is married to Leanne and they have two children. In his spare time, Kelly serves as a member of his church’s orchestra, choir, and quartet, and he enjoys golf, lake life, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.
Mark Ingalls – Commercial Broker
Originally from Greenville SC, Mark grew up playing golf all around the Carolinas. After attending Coastal Carolina University for a business administration degree in Business Management/ Marketing with a specialization in Professional Golf Management. He moved to Chapel Hill in 2016. Mark loves to be on the move outdoors, golfing with friends, playing with his dog, and meeting new people.

Heather Ward – Executive Assistant
Heather Ward started working for the Seagroves Agency, Inc. in June 2018. She enjoys helping clients with payments and billing questions. Heather lives in Hillsborough with her fiance and dogs, Bella & Fred. She enjoys hiking and relaxing on the weekends.
Sarah Dean – Administrative Specialist
Sarah Dean started her insurance career with the Seagroves Agency in May of 2016 becoming a licensed insurance agent August of 2018. Sarah has learned a lot in her short time and has been learning and training under Lee Doss. Her favorite part of her career has been helping clients to understand not only what insurance covers, but the value of that coverage. She loves to help families protect what matters most.
Sarah is married and together she and her husband share one fur baby, Hope. When she is not in the office Sarah enjoys relaxing at home, going to the beach and spending time with family.

Rosy Alvarez – Insurance Broker
Rosy Alvarez has been in the insurance industry since 2002. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2007 with a bachelors degree in psychology. She has had her Property & Casualty license since 2003 and specializes in home and auto.
Rosy is married and has 2 children, boy and girl. In her spare time Rosy likes to spend time with her family, swimming, gardening and volunteering at church.
Blanca Patino – Insurance Broker
Blanca Patino was born in Mexico and raised in Chapel Hill since the age of 5. She is married and has four beautiful kids. Blanca has been in the insurance industry since 2006 and received her LPN license in 2015 from Central Carolina Community College.
When not in the office, Blanca loves to travel and be outdoors exploring with her family.
Leon Patillo – Insurance Broker
Leon Patillo is the personal lines account manager for Seagroves Agency, Inc. He has been serving the insurance industry for over 10 years now. With his time, he has developed specializations for personal lines such as home, auto, personal umbrella, RV, boat, motorcycle, and flood insurance. Leon has enjoyed being a trusted advisor and providing insurance coverage that people need while getting them to see the value in having an agent that is on their side.
Leon has been married to Holli for over two years. When he is not in the office he can be found on the golf course or on a cruise ship.

Pam Dean – Administrative Specialist
Pam Dean is the dedicated customer service representative for Seagroves Agency, Inc. She has acquired 30 plus years of insurance industry experience. Her favorite part of her career has been helping people. Pam loves getting the opportunity to meet new people and make new relationships. She is quite the people person and enjoys interacting with others.
Pam has been married to her husband, Stan, for over 38 years. Together they share four children, who are all grown up and fallen into their own professions. When Pam is not in the office she loves spending time with her family, going to the beach, or riding motorcycles. It is very important to Pam that all her clients know that Seagroves Agency, Inc. is always here to help.
Ericka Justice – Insurance Broker
Ericka has been working in the industry for 10 years. She recently became a licensed agent in January of 2021. She studied Criminal Law & Human Resources prior to becoming an agent and was born & raised in South Alamance County. In her free time, Ericka loves to paint and craft. She loves to soak up the warm summer sun at the beach or at the lake. During the cooler months of the year, she loves to ride four-wheelers in the mountains and take hikes with her pup. She is very excited to be a part of the Seagroves Insurance family!
Katherine Squires – Commercial Service Specialist
Katherine Squires lives in the small town of Silk Hope, NC with her family. Although she studied medicine in college, she has grown to love the insurance industry. She began her career with the Seagrove’s Agency in 2019. Her favorite part of her job is getting the ability to build relationships with the clients. Some things she enjoys are traveling, snowboarding, and spending time with her family.
Jean Droese – Commercial Specialist Manager
Jean Droese is a commercial lines agent for Seagroves Agency, Inc. She has been working for Seagroves for over 15 years but over 21 years within the insurance industry. She has developed a dedicated focus on business insurance. Jean has her life, health, and property and casualty licenses. Her favorite part of her career has been working with people to make sure their insurance needs are met. When Jean is not in the office she enjoys boating, skiing, and some quality family time.
Hayden Hall – Operations Manager
Hayden Hall graduated from Appalachian State University in 2009 where she double majored in Finance and Banking and Risk Management and Insurance. She began her career in the banking industry, but was easily swayed by the Seagroves family to join their company in 2011. Hayden’s first position with the agency was as a receptionist and after obtaining her P&C license in 2012 she became a producer. Hayden was promoted to Operations Manager after the Seagroves Agency expansion in 2018.
Hayden and her husband Jeff live in downtown Raleigh. In her spare time she enjoys working out, attending concerts, spending time outdoors, cheering on the Duke Blue Devils and volunteering with the Junior League of Raleigh.
Toria Mangum – Insurance Broker
Toria Mangum moved to Raleigh after graduating from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She focuses on personal lines and enjoys helping each client find the policies that fit their individual needs. When not in the office Toria enjoys spending time with friends and family, warm weather and Carolina Hurricanes hockey.
Grace Haley – Marketing Specialist
Grace Haley currently lives in Raleigh, NC, with her pets, Abby and Shadow. She recently graduated from UNCW with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing. She’s currently enrolled at UNCW’s graduate program, completing her Masters in Business Analytics. She is originally from Chapel Hill, NC, and is a Tar Heel at heart.
Grace enjoys being a part of her community by working with the Ronald McDonald house and Duke Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. She also loves the great outdoors, such as hiking, hunting, and fishing. She is driven to strengthen the Seagroves Agency’s marketing efforts and help them become more present in their community.
Roanoke Rapids Office
Dawn Vester – Administrative Specialist
Dawn Vester is a retired paraprofessional who spent years working with the Halifax County School System. She retired in 2017 but still serves on the County Schools PR committee. She is also the Vice President of Rainbow Animal Rescue and has four rescue dogs of her own. She and her husband enjoy traveling and spending time with family. Working as a CSR with the Seagroves Agency has given her an opportunity to learn and grow in a new field. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with customers and her cheery disposition helps put a smile on the faces of all those she comes in contact with.
Dawn Brewer – Administrative Specialist
Dawn has lived in the Roanoke Rapids area her whole life. She has one son and two dogs. She is engaged to be married in October and she and her fiance enjoy going to concerts and traveling to the mountains. Prior to joining Seagroves Insurance, Dawn worked in the banking industry for seven years.
Renee Munn – Insurance Broker
Renee Munn lives in Roanoke Rapids with her husband, Greg, and their son Dylan. She graduated from Roanoke Rapids High School in 1987 and immediately started in the insurance industry in 1988. She is an insurance agent and manager for the Roanoke Rapids location with 32 years of experience.
She loves spending time at the local dirt track speedway, where both her husband and son dirt track race every Saturday night, from April to October. When she is not at a dirt track, she is always spoiling her fur babies, Rocky, King, and her rescue pup, Lady. She is a forever fan of UNC Basketball, the Dallas Cowboys, and Nascar. Her absolute favorite time of the year is the spring/summer, when she and her husband occasionally visit The Outer Banks and Myrtle Beach.
Brett Liles – Insurance Broker
Brett Liles lives in Roanoke Rapids. He attended UNCW and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Financial Business 2001. Following graduation he started working with a local Nationwide agency and has 19 years of experience.
Brett volunteers for his local volunteer fire department where he has been a member since 2011 and is currently serving as a Captain and also is on the Board of Directors. He also likes to spend his time outdoors ATV riding, walking/running, boating, fishing and hunting.
Patricia Bennett – Insurance Broker
Patricia Bennett is an associate agent at Seagroves Agency, Inc. Her focus is on Property, Casualty and Life Insurance. She has been licensed to sell insurance since October of 1998. She is a graduate of Halifax Community College with an Associate Degree in Accounting. She is married and has one daughter.
Jennifer Johnson – Insurance Broker
Jennifer currently lives in Roanoke Rapids with her fiancé, her son, and fur babies. She obtained her P&C license in 2013. She enjoys working with clients and meeting new people. Her main goal is to be sure her clients receive good quality customer service and to keep life-long business relationships with them. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with family and friends, spending time outdoors, cooking, and attending her son’s soccer games.

Jimmy Haden- Insurance Broker
Jimmy has over 10 years of experience in insurance, including a year as a claims adjuster. He enjoys working with clients to find them the best rate possible for all of their insurance needs. Jimmy has lived in Rocky Mount most of his life and gives back to his hometown community by being part of the Rocky Mount Rotary Club and mentoring children at local schools. Outside of work, Jimmy loves going to the gym and watching sports, especially the Duke Blue Devils. With his southern hospitality and extensive knowledge in insurance, he is always on your side.
Elizabeth Poulin – Administrative Specialist
Elizabeth is happily married and has two dogs who they love dearly. In her spare time, she loves to walk her dogs and spend time with her friends and church family. She and her husband have also come to love doing renovations to their home. Elizabeth is very excited to serve the Rocky Mount area!
Katryna Mills – Insurance Broker
Katryna Mills is an eastern Wake County native and currently lives in Knightdale, NC with her husband. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill where she received her B.A. in Economics in 1998. Three years later, Katryna worked full-time while completing her Master of Business Administration degree through Campbell University. Katryna obtained her Property & Casualty license as well as her Life & Health license in 2000. Katryna also has her Medicare Supplement license and specializes in educating clients on insurance to make certain they have a solid understanding of their coverage.
Katryna not only enjoys assisting clients with their insurance needs, but she also enjoys dancing, reading, and serving at her church. Katryna is a huge fan of Tarheel sports, especially Tarheel basketball and football. Go Heels!
Dawn Pasquarelli – Insurance Broker
Dawn Pasquarelli lives in Clayton with her husband, Paul, and two kitties. She was born and raised in the Wilson, NC area. She has three grown children and three granddaughters.
Dawn started in the insurance industry in 2014 and obtained her Property and Casualty license in 2017.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending it with her family and working in her garden.
Giovanna Rivera – Administrative Specialist
Giovanna Rivera joined the Seagroves Agency in September of 2019 as a Bilingual CSR and in March of 2020 she received her Property & Casualty license. In her free time, she enjoys to traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Dan Crocker has been an agent in Cary since 1986. Dan spends his time with family and friends, enjoys travel, reading, music, and being involved in the community.
Steve Dixon – Administrative Specialist
Steve recently joined the Seagroves Agency as an Administrative Specialist. Steve is looking to get his P&C insurance license over the next couple of months and become an Insurance Broker. He has recently moved here from Michigan, where he graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In his free time, he loves to hike and has a true passion for fitness as he is a licensed personal trainer.

Miles recently joined the Seagroves Agency as a Commercial Broker. He has been working within the insurance industry for about 7 years. Miles graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Management & Society in 2010. In his free time, Miles enjoys playing golf, travel and spend time with his family & friends.
